One of the hardest parts of leaving complementarianism is the canceling of the community—in real life and online too. Once a person outs themselves, this begins the walking away, the unfollowing, the whispering behind the back about how wayward she has gone. Looks like deconstruction got another one. Oops, I said another bad word—that’s another thing you can’t do in fundamental spaces. You are weak for questioning your faith and your God and you are weak for not being able to hang in the hyper masculine/hyper feminine spaces (another topic for another time).
