Is there a verse you’re clinging to through this season? Are you memorizing something? I say, “You’re kingdom come, on earth as it is in Heaven.” because sometimes life feels so sad and messy, I lose hope.
But this verse that Jesus told us to pray like him, actually asks us to pray for a glimmer of heaven here on earth. The miraculous complete satisfaction in Christ so that we stopped numbing ourselves with things, power, booze, approval, entertainment.
What will that be like?!
The miraculous healing of all sickness, Lord, please bring this to earth! The miraculous Peace where Lion lays with the Lamb--these 2 opposites living in unity. Lord, bring this slice of heaven here on raggedy earth!

This has been my daily wake up verse for so long. It set my mind and heart right, that this day is a gift and His mercies are new every morning.
